I have been loving all the maternity sessions I've been blessed to be a part of lately! A woman carrying a baby is one of the most beautiful things to me. A couple weeks ago, my friends Caitlin and Darryl asked me to document this special time in their lives. I have to be honest, I was a little nervous driving to the location in the POURING rain. This photography thing is quite reliant on the weather. Thankfully, it cleared up right away! We walked around downtown and a small park in The Villages at Sumter Landing. Both of these were new locations for me, so it was fun to explore! Caitlin is just the most radiant mother-to-be. She was so willing to do just about anything, including hopping over a fence, to get the shot! Her and Darryl have such laid back, fun personalities - my job was easy. I am so looking forward to them becoming parents to this sweet baby girl in a few weeks. There is no doubt in my mind that she is going to be quite the beauty!

I had the honor of taking maternity photos for my friends, Megan and Justin, a couple of weeks ago. One of my favorite things about currently living in my hometown is reuniting with friends that I've grown up with. Megan, Justin and I were all members of the same church and actively involved in our youth group as teenagers. I have some fun memories that include them! Specifically, Megan and I sang together in church on many occasions. She has a beautiful voice! They are both currently serving and involved in the children's ministry at FBC of Belleview. If you know them, you know that working with children is right up their alley! They are fun-loving people with a great sense of humor. Two of my favorite qualities. I am so thrilled for them to welcome their baby girl, Macy, in just a few short weeks!

One of my dearest friends, Natalie Carter, is expecting a baby boy in early September. Her original due date was actually September 4th - our little Micah's birthday (I'm crossing my fingers for them to be birthday buddies!) A couple weeks ago she came to visit and we went out on the lake to take some maternity photos. It had been raining all day that day, but thankfully it subsided as soon as we pulled up! She is one beautiful mama-to-be, which made choosing just a few favorite photos to share nearly impossible. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but her heart and love for Jesus is infectious! And I just love being around her. I know she and her husband, Nick, are going to be such wonderful parents! It makes my heart so happy to know these two are going to raise up a mighty warrior for Christ. Ezra, you are one blessed little boy.

The sunset blew me away. It was my first time at this spot on the lake at night, and it definitely did not disappoint!
