My dear friends, Nick and Natalie Carter (who have been featured a lot here and here on my blog!) had their baby boy Ezra a little over a month ago. I was so excited to take these newborn photos for them. I think I may have been a little more distracted than usual with this shoot, because well, I just was so excited for my friends and wanted to hold little Ezra and stare at his cute face!! So... I tried to stay focused. But this boy has stolen my heart. He has the best parents and is going to be raised in a home full of love. What a blessing! Today I am excited to share with you this sweet, little blue-eyed beauty, Aubrey Elizabeth! She was a little shy of one month when we captured these newborn photos, so she was definitely more bright-eyed and active during the shoot! I absolutely loved meeting her parents - her daddy can do a pretty impressive swaddle and her mama was just glowing with love for her baby girl. It's easy to take pretty photos when you have subjects as beautiful as this! :)

I am so excited to share with you one of my very first sibling-family newborn sessions! Sweet Lara Noelle was only 8 days old and she did absolutely perfect. So did her almost-three year old older sister, Lily! It was so fun to spend time in this family's home and capture life with two little ones naturally and candidly. Lifestyle photography is my favorite, because the real memories are what I want to remember and frame for years and I hope the same for my clients. Warning: overwhelmingly cute, ginger baby doll and curly, blue-eyed girl to follow... ;)
